MUSIQ tool

There are factors that occur across the health care system that can impact the success of quality improvement projects. The Model for Understanding Success in Quality (MUSIQ) helps those conducting local improvement efforts to identify and assess those factors occurring in their local context that must be addressed for their improvement projects to be successful.

DOS

A Daily Operating System or DOS is a way of working to help you answer the question: ‘Are we ready today – if not, why not?’

This question is critical to help improve patient care, access and flow. It gives you visibility of today’s operations and allows you to quickly identify problems. Frontline staff are empowered to solve these problems daily or escalate those they cannot fix. We have developed a range of resources to help your health service implement a DOS.

Training opportunities

There are also many training opportunities for staff and leaders working in quality improvement.
