    Recent updates

In 2024, we updated the framework to address:

    • changes to the legislative and regulatory environment in Victoria, including the introduction of the Statutory Duty of Candour
    • the creation of the Chief Quality and Safety Officer role within Victoria, which is held by the SCV CEO.
    • lasting impacts due to the global pandemic, particularly the design and delivery of clinical care, unprecedented workforce pressures and movement, and increasing reliance on and expansion of digital health.
    • our extended reach across healthcare sectors, including private healthcare, community care, aged care, mental health, and custodial settings.
