Paula Wilton
Director, Consumer Outcomes and Experience
Victorian Agency for Health Information
As Director of the Consumer Outcomes and Experience branch, Paula is responsible for increasing the availability of timely, high quality relevant clinical information among a range of audiences in the health sector.
Paula has oversight of:
- selected strategic data collections covering, patient reported experiences, patient reported outcomes, clinical registries as well as safety and surveillance information, capturing patient and worker incidents
- performance indicator development for health care safety and quality
- VAHI’s research and development agenda on factors that drive safety and quality.
Paula is an experienced director with over 20 years’ leadership in health and social policy. Prior to joining VAHI, Paula worked at the Victorian Department of Premier and Cabinet providing strategic advice on policy issues relating to health and human services.
Paula has also led reviews and evaluations in the health sector, aged care and social policy at a state and national level. She has a Master’s degree in health economics from Monash University.
