Summary of professional experience
I am a certified practising speech pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia. I have been practising for 20 years. I have been a Manager of Speech Pathology since 2007 and since 2012 have been Head of Speech Pathology at Monash Health with professional governance responsibility for over 100 speech pathologists and operational responsibility for acute and sub acute bed based services at five hospital sites.
Summary of incident review experience
I recently participated in a root cause analysis process at an external health service. I have completed root cause analysis training as part of an Institute for Healthcare Improvement course conducted at Monash Health in 2016. I have previously sat on a Clinical Review Panel at Monash Health.
