Safer Care Victoria endorses the Australasian Society for Infectious Diseases (ASID) 'Management of Perinatal Infections' guidelines for the following diseases.

  • Cytomegalovirus (CMV) in neonates
  • Herpes simplex-virus HSV in neonates
  • Human immunodeficiency virus HIV perinatal
  • Listeria monocytogenes infection in neonates
  • Parvovirus infection in neonates
  • Rubella in neonates
  • Syphilis in neonates
  • Toxoplasmosis in neonates
  • Tuberculosis in neonates
  • Varicella-zoster infection neonates (Chickenpox)
