Kylie McKenzie

Clinical psychologist and clinical manager of psychology from Ballarat Health Services

Kylie is a Clinical Psychologist with twenty years’ experience in a regional public hospital setting. Kylie’s clinical work is focused on mental health and chronic illness and she leads a team of Clinical Psychologists and Clinical Neuropsychologists at Ballarat Health Services. Kylie has a particular interest in collaborative health care practice and is an active member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers.

Jess Kennedy

Respiratory and Sleep Physician, PhD Student    

Not afraid of a challenge, Jess is undertaking her PhD on the workplace factors that influence doctor’s health & wellbeing. Jess also specialises in healthcare improvement, having completed the ACHS Improvement Academy Lead and IHI Joy in Work training and has worked on process improvements and clinician engagement on major and minor hospital transformation initiatives.

Glenn Taylor

CEO, Nursing and Midwifery Health Program Victoria     

Glenn is a registered nurse and CEO of Nursing and Midwifery Health Program Victoria (NMHPV). He has worked in the profession for over 30 years, mostly in the areas of mental health and alcohol and other drug use.

Glenn has long held an interest in the health of those in the profession and feels privileged to be in a position to directly support, assist and influence his colleagues in Victoria’s nursing and midwifery community. 

Chris Edmonds

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Access Project Officer, Southern Melbourne Primary Care Partnership    

Chris has worked for more than 20 years in the Primary Health sector. During that time spent more than 10 years working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to improve access to health services.

Currently working for Southern Melbourne Primary Care Partnership improving cultural safety at community health services and engagement with the local Aboriginal community. 

Cheryl Ou

Administrative officer, Barwon Health's Mental Health Hospital in the Home and Honorary Research Assistant at Monash Health and Monash University Healthy Sleep Clinic

Cheryl is currently working as an administrative officer in Barwon Health's Mental Health Hospital in the Home. She is also undergoing a clinical research internship at Monash University Healthy Sleep Clinic.

Andrew Tagg

Emergency Physician, Western Health and Victorian Wellbeing Champion for the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine

After leaving the NHS to avoid the 4-hour target Andrew sailed to Australia the long way around as a ships doctor.  He now splits his time between adult and paediatric practice in Melbourne's west.

Drawing from his own lived experience he has been drawn to improving the lot of all healthcare workers - regularly speaking at the national and international level on the importance of treating each other with kindness.

Alison O’Sullivan

Health and Wellbeing Consultant and Accredited Occupational Therapist and Health Coach

Alison has worked in the healthcare industry for 24 years both in Melbourne and London across many roles including Occupational Therapist, Manager, Project Lead, Workforce Wellbeing Coordinator, and Health and Wellbeing Consultant.

She has completed additional study in health coaching, nutrition and mindfulness leadership and is passionate about supporting healthcare workers' mental health and wellbeing.

Kym Jenkins

Psychiatrist and interim Medical Director at the Victorian Doctors Health Program

Kym Jenkins has been selected as Chair of the advisory group. Kym is a psychiatrist and is the interim Medical Director at the Victorian Doctors Health Program. She is also a founder of Hand-n-Hand Peer Support and is on the leadership committee for the Pandemic Kindness Movement.
