Australia has one of the highest rates of asthma in the world, impacting 2.7 million Australians.

Despite efforts to improve asthma management, in 2017-18 approximately 80 per cent of asthma hospitalisations were considered preventable.

As part of the 100,000 Lives program, we’re partnering with health services and consumers to make improvements in the quality and consistency of care for people living with chronic diseases, including asthma, across the health system.

To achieve this, we want to meet with consumers, families and carers who have a lived experience of asthma. We want to hear about your experiences navigating the Victorian health system and ideas to improve the care of people who live with asthma in Victoria.
