Tell us about your experience of preterm birth
Published 23/06/2022
Did you know 26,000 Australian babies are born preterm each year, before 37 weeks?
Preterm and early term births increase the risk of life-changing adverse health events for babies, mothers and their families.
We warmly invite women with lived experience of preterm birth in the last five years to join our National Preterm Birth Prevention Collaborative to safely reduce preterm and early term birth in Australia.
Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to help us design and deliver this initiative to improve health care and outcomes.
We will be bringing maternity service teams together to test and implement change to achieve a reduction in their rates of preterm and early term birth.
Visit Women’s Healthcare Australasia for information about how to get involved.
We also want to learn from women who have had experience with preterm (before 37 weeks) or early term birth (between 37 and under 39 weeks) within the Victorian health care system in the last five years.
