Fluid restriction has long been a key pillar in management of a patient who presents with symptoms of fluid overload, and often done concurrently with active diuresis.
In this clinical conversation, our expert panel will talk about the latest evidence, pathophysiology, and the merits and implications of restricting fluid patients who are (or are not) overloaded in the acute and community setting. We will hear the perspectives of a Heart Failure Nurse Practitioner, a Cardiologist, a GP, and a lived experience consumer.
Our Clinical Conversation Series webinars provide a platform for people to explore speciality areas of healthcare by sharing and discussing key learnings from lived experience in the sector. We aim to promote peer to peer learning through conversation and shared experiences to improve and inform existing best practice.
Attendance is free and sessions are recorded for distribution and viewing.
