Innovation and improvement

We are calling for expressions of interest for a clinical lead for our Safer Care for Kids: Victorian Children's Tool for Observation and Response (ViCTOR) improvement initiative.

This initiative aims to:

  • reduce variation in recognition of deterioration of paediatric patients across Victoria through the use of the ViCTOR charts, helping to support equity for these patients whenever they access care
  • improve the family/carer voice in recognising and responding to deterioration
  • improve the understanding and monitoring of how ViCTOR charts are utilised throughout Victoria.

The Safer Care for Kids Clinical Lead role is critical for ensuring strong consumer partnership, context and clinical expertise, leadership and strategic advice at each stage of this work.

Find out more about this initiative in the Safer Care for Kids update.
